I am a dramaturg whose approach leads with care: care for the play, care for the process, and care for every person engaging with the piece.

My practice spans both production and new work dramaturgy, naturally gravitating towards the unconventional coming-of-age and complicated love stories. These often take the form of works with heightened language, reimagined classics, and musical theatre.

Production Dramaturgy

The scope of my production dramaturgy is comprehensive, including the facilitation of pre-production conversations with the creative team, actor resource creation, in-room rehearsal support, lobby display design and execution, program notes, and leading pre/post-show conversations.

New Work Dramaturgy

As a new work dramaturg, I am an advocate for the play and its playwright in every stage of the development process. This includes offering dramaturgical feedback on works-in-progress, festival script coverage, and preparation of scripts for submission and production.

Study Guides

In addition to production and new work dramaturgy, I collaborate with education departments to create study guides that are rooted in the presented work while meeting statewide standards.

The following are study guides made for Constellation Stage + Screen’s 25/26 season:

You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown

Finn: A New Musical
