As a producer, I balance artistic integrity with administrative necessity by leading through a dramaturgical lens.
My experience as a producer includes both institutional support and festival operations, supporting the creation of theatrical excellence at every level.
Institutional
During my tenure as the inaugural Associate Producer at Gretna Theatre, I led interdepartmental initiatives to make its annual summer season a reality.
My primary responsibilities included:
Planning and running Equity Principal Auditions (EPAs) per union standards
Facilitating casting-related correspondence on behalf of Artistic leadership
Coordinating recruitment efforts and professional development programming for the collegiate Apprenticeship program
Generating digital and physical marketing assets
As the FAIR Literary Management Assistant at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I thrived at one of the country’s largest producing theatre organizations by marrying my dramaturgical intuition with my administrative skillset.
My primary responsibilities included:
Assisting with production dramaturgy for The Merry Wives of Windsor
Creating and piloting internal script coverage systems
Compiling dramaturgical materials for show program notes
Organizing physical and digital script libraries
Scouting works for consideration in future season selection
Festival
While earning my Master of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy at Indiana University Bloomington, I served as a producer for the annual At First Sight New Works Festival.
My responsibilities varied depending on the year-specific needs of the festival, including (but not limited to):
Creating social media content and physical assets to promote Festival programming
Overseeing personnel management at staged readings and Festival-related events
Leading outreach efforts to expand regional awareness of the Festival to theatre organizations
