sheridan schreyer

dramaturg + producer

hello!

I’m Sheridan, a dramaturg and producer passionate about the creation of theatrical excellence at all levels, supporting new and established works at every point in the process.

I am in my final year of the Master of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy program at Indiana University Bloomington. During my time at IU, I’ve served as the production dramaturg for shows in the Department’s season, developed new plays with members of the MFA Playwriting cohort, and co-produced the annual At First Sight New Works Festival.

I have maintained my professional practice while earning my graduate degree, assisting literary operations at theaters across the country. Most recently, I wrote study guides and scouted shows for season selection at Constellation Stage + Screen and piloted new script coverage systems while serving as the Assistant Dramaturg for The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Beyond producing and dramaturgy, my work also includes intimacy direction, casting, stage management, and grant writing. Outside of the rehearsal room, I can be found catching up on reality TV (most recently the fourth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) over an iced oatmilk latte.
